Gatwick north terminal offered me up a whole host of MAC goodies last week. Archie's Girls got a bit of a swatch-athon but nothing appealed. So I got to swatching all the 'my lips but better' pinks I could lay my eyes on and found Plink. Which had me whipping out the Visa card pretty sharpish (before boyfriend in tow could raise his eyebrows at me)

1. MAC Lustre Lipstick - PLINK! Hello again my Stylish Bows, I made a sneaky order on the Debenhams website last week and saw this gorgeous MAC lipstick shade which I couldn't leave. The shade is called PLINK! And is one of the brands Lustre lipsticks.

It's a Lustre finish, sheer toned glossy pink. A daytime shade that's really easy to wear which is what I have been after for a while.

Described by MAC as a warm seashell pink. Wear time isn't the longest, around two hours but I find this with Lustre lipsticks. Wear time doesn't matter too much as its no hassle to re-apply being a sheer pink shade.

Excuse the end of day makeup but hopefully it gives a view of how this lipstick works on the more pale of skin tones.
Now my other lip shades are sitting unloved for now whilst I obsess over this shade every day.

I recently made my first ever MAC purchase! After much debate..trust me! I know i obviously don't have a big MAC collection..but i still spent along time looking up reviews and swatches of Plink! and various other lipsticks before I even considered buying it.

It was a very big step for me. I'm a really shy person so I find it quite embarrassing going into stores like MAC let alone purchasing anything! Do you guys ever get that way?(Probably not..aha)

I'll start by saying the obvious..It's a Lustre Lipstick so it has heaps of shimmer! It's not a vibrant pink so its perfect for a smokey eye or even a cat eye. I love how it has gold shimmer! It can definitely be used for both day and night! It's not a very attention seeking lipstick (Thats why I like it! If you want an in-your-face lipstick try Saint Germain or even Cyber!x)Its a very long lasting. The best thing about this lipstick is it's vanilla scent that all the lipsticks have! I throughly recommend this product if you haven't guessed it! If I were to rate it it would definitely be 4/5
